what do you mean by adding stats ??? if you mean the affixs then yes anyways, this is not my first time making items if you wonder ,as I did a lot of set gears but the old ways ( it takes me 2-3 hours to make one set because I make each item 8 times without duping since it doesn't work with me T.T) thanks for your reply ^.^
there are a few things to look at then are you copy pasting the item or are you using the duplicate button at the top when you click the duplicate button then look in the raw tab under items is the seed different between the two items....If you look at my explanation of the duplicate button you will see I generate a random number every time even if you click new item it will give a different seed you can always try that duplicate the item 30 times make 30 new items then in the raw tab copy the seed from the new items to the duplicated items and see if there is any change that way the seed controls everything about the item let me know
Mmmm... I think I was using copy paste method not the duplicate button ,,, for the seed they all have same number even the other items which is "0" XD and would you kindly link me to your dupe explanation ?? thanks
the duplicate button is on the top of the list. there's new item, duplicate, etc. if you select an item and then click duplicate on the top of the menu list, then you cam notice how each time an item is duplicated , it has a different seed each time you dupe it. You can see its own seed on the raw tab ,as CKY explained with his post above. makes sense mate?
yup this is correct if you look above you inventory tab you'll see [New][Duplicate][Delete] click the item you wanna dupe then click the duplicate button like he said above.
http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/109557-updated-viperx420s-ros-tutorials-and-cky-diiiros-editor-news/?p=647262 bottom of page 29 this thread so now lets look at what the copy button dose. { it first copy's the item into a temporary item then it uses a random number generator to generate the item id_low so you don't have item id collisions then it takes the temp item and adds it to the items list } wow it only changes the item id_low so there is not item collisions whats this mean its a carbon copy of what you had exact in every way but then again it troubles me that you say the seed of the item is 0 lets make sure you are looking at the right area of the raw data if you expand the items then click on the items collection all the way to the right button [...] open that expand out generator you should see base_affix, contents, and down at the bottom should be seed this number should be in the range of 3000000 - 49999999 even though the range is 0 to 4 billion i chose these numbers because that's the numbers the game used........
can anyone help out and try this... if you have the pre-2.1 'The Furnace' with the old 8% passive, and then port your save to ps4/xb1 to 2.1, will this change the passive to the 2.1 changes 'Increases damage against elites by 40–50%.' kinda like porting the 'leorics crown, depth diggers, crudest boots, etc.' to 2.1, will they receive the changes automatically or no? even you change the item flag to '265'? currently out of town due to work, cannot try and experiment this if this works, anyone could pls try it out
My bad .... I was looking at enchant_SEED lol haven't noticed the "enchant" ..... work is killing me T.T so yes they have different seeds ... I'll try to dupe my items once I get home "at work now" Thanks a million ,,, you are my SAVIOR and my HERO ... ''\(^.^)/''
when did 2.1.0 patch hit the consoles? as I'm aware we are on a modified version of 2.0.6 especially if you are able to edit with out file corruption
Yes some items will recieve their new hardcoded stat retroactively but not all will receive the same treatment this will be confirmed on a case by case basis but we'll see as people try things as long as it didn't receive a new GBID and use's same GBID it should get it retroactively if it received a new GBID odds are that the new affix will only be connected to that GBID.
ok it works, I confirm that you need to have at least level 1 paragon before changing the paragon level
another question, is it possible to fix a value of an affixe ? exemple : I want 750 STR on an affixe and not a random value
there is a way but no body really knows the full extent on how its done or shared such info with us so we don't know the 411 on how the seed works 100% but we do know the seed is what controls it the only weird thing is that say 1 = perfect roll from one stat affix but then the same stat of higher or lesser value could be 2 or 3 now for perfect so with every range comes a new number that makes it perfect because of this its almost impossible to determine how to make an item perfect everytime first time until it's been done once and reported back to us which no body does half the time so we run blind on some of this stuff and go by strict RNG luck using the duplicate function thats found inside the application that randomly generates seeds you'll have better results.
what i meant is your ps3/xb360 D3RoS save file port it to ps4/xb1 who has patch 2.1.0 i know some of the items basic stats will received change, like how 2hand weapons got damage boost, like how some swords got attack speed boost, etc. i know we dont know yet about the legendary passives if the porting process to latest patch will change (or not) the GBID, i was also thinking that probably maybe that the gear with new legendary passives (example leoric crown) is only acquirable only on patch 2.1.0 hence new GBID, considering some legacy items are allowed and different to RoS 2.1 even so thats why im asking and requesting that if could someone please experiment and try it out damn out of town business trip is killing me wanting to try this out if it works
First off, Thank you for the cool work. Second, I apologize if my question has been answered in the other 35 pages. I tried to wrestle through each page but I didn't see a specific answer to my question. So for the most part the editor works great when generating basic items or even set pieces. And I have created several legendary weapons where I saw the proper affixes that go with them. But I had two specific questions, I am trying to build some of the more rare legendaries for my witch doctor that I have been painfully farming... Taskers and the Mask. Both have special affixes that I just don't see in the list. Since the item was listed I assumed those special affixes would be in there am I missing something because they are pet damage and pet attack speed? Another question, what is the flag field and legendary level field for? I wasn't sure what to set those fields mean.
for 'the mask of jeram' look at the vodoo mask (legendary), as for 'task and theo' go to gloves (legendary), make sure to pick the item with (RoS), those come with the right legendary passive as for flag items changed it to '265' so you can enchant the item from the mystic, as for the level just put max '70'
Are you saying if I pick the ones with the (ROS) in the name they automatically have the affixes for pet damage and pet attack speed I don't have to apply those? Do I have to leave an affix spot open so not to overwrite those?
yes, those items comes already with a legendary passive you dont have to leave an affix spot so you can get like 6 affixes plus the legendary passive = 7 affixes, if you wanna go overkill
