Huge sigh of relief here, it was doing my head in, even more so after the game took 40 mins to install, I went to play it, all excited but only for it to loop into tne main menu, I felt like throwing my xbox through the window mate. I deleted disc one, intending to create another god, I restarted my console, hot start and bingo, it worked. Going to have a good go on it in a bit

The cause of the problem could be anything. You'll have to do a little trial and error yourself to find out.

Check Disk space, Test a different copy, re-convert to GOD Format, Use a different storage device and whatever else you can think of for troubleshooting.

Hey, I installed disc 1 as GOD, and merged discs 2-4 together into one game folder, the unique files are only 12gb.

    Seems to work fine

Hey guys, for anyone still having troubles installing the game. Do this... After you convert disc 1 to GOD format, put the god files on your HDD(External or Internal)

Fire up Freestyle Dash.. go to File manager.. go to the GOD folder and click on, 7394574391FCB357C80D file. This will trigger disc 1 required content to install and the game will automatically prompt you to choose installation location. The game takes about 40 minuets to install.

Once the game is installed, you can launch the game using DVD 2.

    Enjoy :D

IM 30 percent installed so far!

Thanks for the tut. I'll try it out. What files can I delete from disc 1?
I still need the "Hdd1\Content\0000000000000000\425307F5\00007000" folder, right?

    Thanks

You can delete Disc 1 GOD Files or anything related to Disc 1 after Installation.

It depends if the content is installed to the directory you specified, Don't delete the folder unless it's empty.

I have never used anything to create GOD files so how do I do this?
Can I not simply extract dvd1 on to my internal content folder using XBOX360 content manager and then put the rest on my external drive?
If not I guess I need to have iso2god and use that (I hope its easy) put disk1 on the internal, but can I run the extra disks from the external?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Yes convert Disc 1 using iso2god to GOD Format.

If you're playing it in Extracted Format (.xex), FSD is recommended for its auto disc swap feature.
(Only Disc 2-4 are excepted in Extracted Format whereas Disc 1 has to be in GOD Format or as a DVD Otherwise you will not be prompted for the installation of the Required Contents)

After the Required Content is installed, Playing the game from the External Hard Drive shouldn't be a problem.

It will most likely put it at the default location on Hdd1 Drive but it should still allow you to load it and install the content.

Do note that Hdd1 is the default device for Internal Hard Drive.
