Last week I wrote an article on 2K Games teasing a new game with new website advent administration today they have officially announced the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The website which was speculated with image etc, was thought to be a dystopia future based type of game which may be the end of the world and you the gamer had to save it. This is kind of true in a way, due to the fact that XCOM 2 is set twenty years into the future and humanity actually lost the war against the aliens. The game itself will be developed by Firaxis Games and will have a release in November exclusively for PC, no date has been announced for consoles unfortunately. Feral Interactive will be developing a port for the game itself for MAC and Linux users. "In XCOM 2, the roles have been reversed, and XCOM is now the invading force. They are hampered by limited resources and must constantly evade the alien threat in their new mobile headquarters. Players must use a combination of firepower and stealth-like tactics to help XCOM recruit soldiers and build a resistance network, while attempting to expose the evil alien agenda and save humanity. XCOM 2 will introduce gameplay features such as procedurally-generated levels, which will make each experience unique to the player, as well as offer a much deeper level of modding support. Grand Theft Auto Five, does this game ever stop to impress? Their ingenuity and innovative ideas show how dedicated they really are to their game. This is one company I can really sit back and say, wow. I dislike the gaming companies who go from one game to another like it's a piece of bread with no dedication inputted to what members buy and expect the best of. An example would be Assassins Creed, you see a new game coming out basically every month. They are now decreasing in profits and ask for feedback on what they can do to help them better themselves, it's too late.. Now to get back on topic, GTA V is coming out with a Part 1 new patch for it's online gameplay. It will bring new airplanes, helicopters, guns, cars and customizations. All the things we all like and honestly they look mint. They truly are thinking outside the box and I will show the images of the updates below this article. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a game on the rise among a bunch of the gaming sites and constant news on it everyday. This game came out not too long ago but, it's seems to be picking up quickly. Now with this being the second DLC coming out for the game, it shows they have no intentions for the game to slow anytime soon. The purity in which they have put into the graphics content is outstanding and above any expectations I would of put on this game itself. Even us staff play they game, I know it may sound weird to you but, yes.. We do play games. Now for the ultimate DLC release that is taking on the new role of the game and what its about. As you can see in the picture above, their is new sets of armor and equipment that will be added to your collection for no price at all. This may be the first game that has given out DLC's without charging a cent. There are some games that do this but, eventually start charging later on but.. Could that be different with this game? CD Projekt RED developers seem very enlightened with giving the best content they possibly can to all there fans of gamers. This elite crossbow and armor will have the abilities to defend yourself better and attack with more power than before. There is no saying what is to come next.. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, can this game get any weirder? The Exo suit jumping and rapid guns I thought was going to be enough but, nope. Now a new DLC installment will be unleashing the beast or, Zombie Sharks you can call them. As you see in the image above, they are very odd looking and the name of them alone pretty much sums they up. In my opinion it looks like they're following more of an Alien Isolation type of game with these creations. They look almost like the Aliens in the game mentioned and the movies if anyone has seen them. Just the structure and mouth really goes into depth with the same feel. The new DLC release entitled Carrier, part of the Imminent Supremacy DLC will be released as of June 2nd or today for some. The whole sales price for the content pack will be £11.99 / $14.99 and obviously being no charge if you have purchased the Season Pass already. And with the game and a new DLC release comes a story and here it mentions, “Our heroes are left desperate for answers after Sentinel pilot Captain Lennox executes one of their own,” says the blurb. “Before they can unravel the truth however, they must band together with their captor to survive the horrors aboard an Atlas research vessel.” Sounds fair enough to me, I may even give it a try myself. As many of you may have taken notice of, the characters list stars The Evil Dead’s Bruce Campbell which becomes a huge role within the game that he plays and leads his comrads. Grindhouse’s Rose McGowan the girl which you see tied up in the beginning while someone gets shot, with being John Malkovich’s daughter. John Malkovich, Aliens which follows the original series which came out a very long time ago. Bill Paxton, The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal which is basically a Left 4 Dead character if anyone can recall him. And the developed Zombie Shark which falls into nobodys hands besides itself. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is said to be receiving a patch on the game for many Xbox One gamers. The game on the Xbox One was really poor with it's sequencing of the quality, unlike how it was on the PlayStation 4, which is odd. Now the game is said to get a 30 FPS lock on the game to even out it's performance and maximize the quality without a trip in the system. Although this is the third game in the series that is developed by CD Projekt RED, it is still the most searched, talked about, and reviewed among other games facing it. Could this mean the game is successful in general? Or it's consistent gameplay is what drags people in? In this case, I find it to be both. I have never been so happy to look at a game and say "wow." Not only is it the most searched game on the web at the moment but, it's probably on the rise of the top 10 most popular games to come out as well.
