    thanks for topic.

    1 thing: my friend bought RGH Slim and it has outdated kernel over years, is there any issue if I flash the older kernel directly to the most up to date kernel ? also I plugged kinect to xbox and it asked to install kinect update or something.

    ps. I have my own RGH Slim that is almost up to date, at least I can play Watch or Mordor (thanks to guy who rghed and updated it)

    I just found this and I hope don't mess anything with his xbox.

    All depends on the kernel that is currently on the RGH, i have heard this is working fine from kernel 16197-17150 all you need to do if it is on one of these kernels and has an issue stating the HV patches are too old, simply switch to the advanced settings tab and flash HV patches before updating.

    Any kernal prior to 16197 i would highly recommend using the manual updater, the link can be found in the support tab of the Updater app ;)
