China will become an officially supported Xbox One region when the console arrives in the freshly green-lit territory in September.

It will be the first foreign machine to go on sale in the territory since trade restrictions preventing the sale of games consoles were lifted at the turn of the year.

The entry level SKU will include a console, controller, Powerstar Golf and Neverwinter Online and cost ¥3,699 ($599). A Day One Limited Edition adds in Kinect and copies of Kinect Sports Rivals and Forza 5 and will cost ¥4,299 ($700).

Games that aren’t free-to-play will retail for between ¥99-¥249 ($16-$40.5).

Western publishing partners for the region include EA, Ubisoft and 2K while Eastern gaming partners include Tencent, NetEase, Yingpei and Gamebar. Streaming video provider BesTV and audio services QQ Music, Douban FM and GameFY are also on board.
