XBOX ONE fans have been warned there could be more Xbox Live outages over Christmas after hacker group Lizard Squad claimed to have taken the service down earlier this month. Users reported issues with the service at the start of December, the BBC reports that the network came under a DDOS, a distributed denial of service attack. The service was blocked after being overloaded, leaving users unable to establish an online connection. As reports started to be posted on social media about difficulties in logging onto Xbox Live, the Lizard Squad account on Twitter (named Lizard Patrol), posted: "XBox Live #offline." The account then followed up its original message with several stating they were getting ready to stage further online DDOS attacks during the Christmas period. They tweeted: "Microsoft will receive a wonderful Christmas present from us. What are your thoughts about these attack's?
