New Achievement information suggests that downloadable Xbox One games will feature 1000 Gamerscore, an increase of 600G compared to current Xbox Live Arcade titles. Xbox 360 Achievements posted a list of Achievements for Halo: Spartan Assault showing the change. The downloadable title is listed with 1000G worth of Achievements for its Xbox One version, with the Xbox 360 version containing only 400G--the maximum currently allowed for XBLA titles on Xbox 360. Disc-based retail games have always featured a Gamerscore of 1000. Xbox Live Arcade games originally had a limit of 200 Gamerscore, but Microsoft updated this to 400G in 2014. Allowing downloadable titles 1000G fits with Microsoft's previous statements that it is removing the barrier between retail and digital in the Xbox One, ditching the Xbox Live Arcade branding and listing both full-priced retail games and digital titles together from a single marketplace.
