Xbox LIVE goes down again thanks to Lizard Squad Xbox LIVE gets hacked for second time this week By Matt Liebl Notrious DDoS group Lizard Squad has struck once again, taking down Xbox LIVE for the second time in this week. In addition to the numerous complaints pouring in over social media, Microsoft has acknowledged the issue over on the official Xbox LIVE support page. "Are you having a tough time signing in? Us too, but we're aware of the issue, and we're working hard to get everything back up to speed ASAP!" the message reads. Microsoft hasn't admitted to a DDoS, but Lizard Squad, who returned last week and caused mayhem among the gaming industry, has once again taken credit for the Xbox LIVE downtime.
Does anyone know the point behind this? Why are they doing it? Is it just because they can or is there a point?
why do people keep saying they "Hacked" xbox live there are just a bunch on script kiddies with mom and pops credit cards ddos'in. DDoS is not hacking anyone can do it with a credit card only thing it takes to do such a attack is multiple people more people more stress tests they can do at once, they need to pull there finger out there own asses get a job and stop suckling on mummies nipples. Childish little mudafakers.
They don't have a point for it. They are doing this just because a lot of people play Xbox and they want the attention. How else will they get known if there just taking down sites that are rarely heard of or cared for. I don't know what Xbox is doing over there but, I would assume there working on something to clear out the pinged requests that they send when DDOS'ing to not put so much tension on the server.
