Boyd Multerer the founder of Xbox Live and XNA has announced he is leaving Microsoft this month after working with the company for two decades. The announcement was made via Tweeter where he said " Goodbye Microsoft. It was a good run. Xbox was Great! Time to do something new." Although he wasn't ready to reveal what the 'New something' was just yet https://twitter.com/BoydMulterer/status/549571070693765120 https://twitter.com/BoydMulterer/status/549571126297632768 During his career with Microsoft which spanned over 20 years Boyd has had many roles within the company, he is however most well known for the development of Xbox Live, the service we all know and love today, and the now redundant XNA framework. If you would like to wish Boyd Multerer well with his new project then check out his Twitter. It's not yet clear whether his next project will be game-related or not, but we are pretty sure he will Tweet when he is ready to reveal.
