Basically, I went into Game today and purchased a new Xbox One. I first booted it up around 15 Minutes but was hearing this horrible noise through out the set up. I would have thought that it would pass when getting to the dashboard but I had no such luck. Has this happened to anyone else before? My previous Xbox One done no such thing and although the noise isn't that loud, it's still pretty irritating =/ It does the noise even in stand by with no disc in, I have no clue =/

Could I get some help ASAP? Not sure whether to take this back tomorrow.

Here is what it sounds like:

Really? I've heard it's happening with most Kinectless models now tbh. Just saw many people on another forum and I think it's pointless in returning this now. I may just way for the next update.

More funny news guys. I took it back to game, got an exchange and my new one also does it .. not as loud .. but it still sounds like the fan is hitting something. Now, I'm taking it back AGAIN tomorrow to sort it out. I'll personally ask them to exchange it AGAIN and to see whether I can open a new one in-store. I'll definitely be purchasing that Gamecare plan as well .. it looks like I'll need it.

It might be the controller because with my Xbox 360 my Turtlebeach x12's work FINE on my Wireless controller but if I put my Wired one in then the Headset goes nuts and when the controller Vibrates it gets worse. So this could be a similar case only for the XBone as it's ground levels. Maybe get a replacement controller and check if it still happens, that's if the new headset doesn't work.
