Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me with a problem. I have a xbox with xkey for 2 years now and it always worked fine. I did not install new games for a year but now I wanted to and all hell broke loose. I download the games and tried to put them on my external HDD. Then I remembered, I have a Mac, and this is why I installed parallels... So I tried it again on windows 8 and when I was done I did not know how to safely remove my HDD so I plugged it out.. Stupid, I know. I plugged it in my xkey, but it said it was empty. My computer did not recognize the HDD as well. After 2 days and a lot of google searches I had to clean up my HDD, empty it and format it again to NTSC. I put the new firmware for Xkey on it and the config file. It said update complete, reboot your xbox so I turned it off. I have deleted the new firmware and put my games on it. When I try to play it now, it says with a lot of games: No valid iso. (it is actually in dutch and says something literally translated like: no valid fast-iso?) The only game that does work is Tony Hawk 5. I do not really believe that all of the games do not work. I am downloading the old games that did work before as we speak, so I can truly test my theory. So can anyone think of a problem why my xkey is not reading the ISO files? What have I done wrong? Sorry for the long story but I wanted to tell you everything. Thank you. Sam
You need ISOMenu or DVDMenu? Have you activate and deactivate this in the xkey.cfg for ISOMenu: MENUISO=Y +++++++++++++++++++++++++++dvdMENU flag Y/N On/Off++++++++++++++++++++++++ MENUDVD=N I need the DVDMenu and it´s works fine with the new update´s only 5 Games from 199 doesn´t load with the Menu, i load the Games with the Remote. Sorry for my bad englisch i am from Austria mfg Lucky
Thank you for your reply! I don't really know what I need, I downloaded the xkey.config without ISO menu which was recommended if you had a remote, which I have. (that is the little black box where you select your iso's right?) Maybe I have to install the other one? The remote shows the games but gives me the message no valid iso every time. Where do you have your games from or is that forbidden to say on this forum? I am just wondering if maybe it is my iso that does not work. Greetings, Sam
Try running your Iso's through Abgx 360 to see if there at least bootable. Right click the Iso and check properties the in the general tab untick read only if it's ticked. Or have a read through http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/se7ensins-official-x360key-thread.591545/page-91
