Right now I own both a XB1 and a PS4 after playing the X1 almost two months early I couldn't wait to hop on the M$ train for the new console. At the time of launch it was outstanding yeah it was riddled with issues black screens slow boot times crashes and kinect didn't work properly but since then MS have steped there game up to resolve all of that with constant updates on a regular basis something sony needs 4 updates to fix one issue imo is just stupid but it happens. Both consoles have there advantages and disadvantages the PS4 lacks apps compared to the XB1 also the DS4 pad is horrible always losing charge and breaking with rubbish analog sticks. Compared to the xbox one pad which has a better feel better vibartion feedback and weight to it and fits more snugly in your hands. But then you could argue the fact of the DS4 speaker and lightbar with games interacting with it which is awesome. The xbox one also supports external storage which is a major issue in next gen gaming with titles racking up 50GB+ which is a major advantage for MS however the PS4 lets you remove the HDD to upgrade. I use both my PS4 and the XB1 but I prefare my PS4 for gaming and the XB1 more for watching TV on and social features like skype and twitter ect. You could argue about which console is better till the cows come home at the end of the day it all comes down to user prefrence.
