I was wondering what the general consensus was around here with regards to VR and its impact on the gaming industry. Do you think it's all hype or legitimately the "next" step in gaming, as 3D was to 2D? What do you think about Microsoft partnering with Oculus?
Don't know how far VR will go in gaming, but if Microsoft makes a sunglasses size VR headset, powered through their cloud engine, so that you can play your Xbox1 games on xbox live with your wireless controller anywhere, then they will have something. other than gaming i think VR apps could be a big thing, might be a new VR OS, to compete with android and apple, first company to pair VR apps with Adult Enternainment (as in por.n) will make alot of money.
