Ok since the new expansion of diablo 3 coming out on ps3 and ps4 in August. Will there be a new D3Editor for ps4 or just ps3. Since the news expansion coming out on ps3 and ps4. Will there be a CKY D3Editor for ps4. I am thinking about getting for ps4
nope there will not be an editor for PS4 or XboxOne anytime soon. It is impossible to access the save data on those console's because they will be saved on the cloud server through a DRM system similar to how the PC is done so any attempt to access that save data will result in instant ban so we will not be attempting an editor for any other console other then PS3 and Xbox360. On another note even if they didn't use a DRM system we cannot decrypt and encrypt PS4 save data yet because nobody has discovered the new decryption keys yet to make it possible so until that is figured out editor's cannot be created for any game on PS4 or XboxOne. On another note according to the new protocal's in ROS we won't be able to mod items anymore they completely removed the items protocal buffer's which controls the GBID and Stat Affix ID's, but until it release's on console we'll never know if we can use the old protocal's with the new system and still edit items like we are currently so better have fun while you can because everything we do now could be gone next patch for both versions with or without the expansion installed. And last note for those of you who think well i'll make items on ps3 and transfer my save to ps4 with the one time transfer all your items are going to retroactively change when the new update installs what will happen is it takes the GBID of the item then looks at the level and class of the character in possession of the item and rerolls the item according to those variables. Now items found in your stash will go through a secondary form of conversion which is a little more random, it takes the current level of the item and rolls 4-6 random stats within the items legendary level parameter at least this is what happened to our legit items on PC so i assume the same thing will happen to our modded items on the console after the next patch sort of like how they retroactively fixed our stat mods with patch 1.02.
well thats kinda a dumb question. why wouldn't they hate us...hmm...we are breaking the game when i started modding it was to test limits and then eventually make my own perfect stat items over time people have taken it too far and Blizzard doesn't doesn't like it so what do you expect? Hopefully things work out and we are still able to mod after patch, but til we get it we'll never know plus did you think it would be that easy? At least the game is better balanced for legitimate play now so there is less need to modify items as much, but it would still be fun to do never the less.
Btw guys CKY has updated the editor so you might want to check that out. Also if you could viper find out what the locker is, and does in the new version that would be awesome. For i'm not sure if that's the stash, or not so i want to be careful thanks. Edit: just tried the locker features and found that. Items put there do NOT go into the stash, and i could be wrong. So if i am someone please tell me thanks.
The Locker is not attached to the save file in any way or form it is a personal stash within the program that you can use that has infinite storage space to put items so they don't take up room in your ingame stash if you don't use them this way you don't have to have multiple saves to contain and stash away all your items you can just throw them in the locker and save space ingame then when you want the item simply copy it from the locker and paste it to your main inventory.
this isn't really my editor guy's don't get this messed up i'm only helping with the project in small minor area's and in no way am the developer of the editor I just help test and improve it with image's and test out code and get it defined within the program other then that in the development process its all thanks to CKY not me Just thought I'd throw that out there it's all thanks to him we have this easy to use editor. I just feel he doesn't get enough credit for it since he's not on the site and he gets other's part of the project like myself and marcus to post stuff on here for him.
Question viper how do i roll a better item using the editor. Cky explained to me i completely forget on how to do it though. Could you please remind me thanks.
Thanks now im getting a error message when trying to copy stuff into the locker is this normal? Also when i hit quit on the error message the editor stops working. Here is the error message Edit: Never mind got that part working now its only pasting one item from say like a dozen, and its moving really slow as hell like malasis slow
can you elaborate on this subject a little bit cause we need to know more about the issue if we are to discover the issue and have CKY figure out a way to fix the issue.
Sorry to bother but I am getting the same messages to when i exit out of CKY editor. It says error every time I close out the program.
If your locker is empty and you try to paste something into it, it will result in an error message saying the editor stopped working. To solve this issue simply click the "New Item" button so there is an item in the locker then proceed to paste the single item into the locker. Notice now that the locker isn't empty it should be working perfectly fine, now proceed to delete the "New Item" once you have a few copied items in the locker. This issue should be solved when the next revision of the program rolls out, but for now just do what i said once something is in the locker you'll never see the error again.
Two Questions: 1. Under the character's "General" tab you'll see name/level/ character etc.. but you'll also see at the bottom a mini-tab called "Unknown", full of values. None of the values are labeled and I was wondering what they did and which if any are changable with positive outcomes. 2. Under the "Account" tab at the top then under the "Raw" tab there is console_data. There is achievement_snapshot, is there a list of what these ID's represent and what their cooresponding completion number is?
