Short Description: Hyrule Warriors gameplay video cuts through 100s of enemies

New gameplay footage from Hyrule Warriors, a Legend of Zelda themed spin-off of Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warriors series has been released.

The video shows Link engaging with a variety of different enemies from the Legend of Zelda franchises, as well as using weapons such as the bomb. Zelda, an alternative playable character in the upcoming Wii U exclusive, is also shown.

Recently it was reported that Hyrule Warriors will use the Wii U GamePad for its two-player mode and star Impa as a playable character.

One player will see the action on the GamePad screen while the other will play normally on the television. Though multiplayer is rare for Zelda outside of Four Swords, previous Dynasty Warriors games have supported multiplayer modes with split-screen and online play.

The Hyrule Warriors release date has been confirmed as August 14.
