I had the same problems, seems the game doesnt allow the mods at certain points in the game.! If you did back up your save, use the backup continue a bit more then try use the mod tool.! If my memory is correct I could never mod during a mission, boss etc, I could only mod when free roaming. Try this and remember to always backup your save
Ok Passed the drilling bug was fine, I always back up my saves just in case. I have the "speak with gale" for the carry the plan part as the main quest, but currently hunting down mementos. Well was, after finishing and turning in the quest I decided to give the mod a go again. The save loads but none of the changes take effect. When I load the save from the USB the modding tool shows the changes, more money etc but the game doesn't show them. So I dont know. I am not in a boss, I am in the forgotten camp just standing there and still changes don't show in the game.
Hmmm sounds odd! Have you got a retail copy or a downloaded version burnt to a disc? If you got a retal copy try deleting your cache if an update was downloaded then try again
Never have known how to burn 360 cd's lol. too scared for my account to do so. I got my copy at gamestop. I will try the cache thing.
ok good editor..it ruined my save game i played it for almost 8hrs..after modding it keeps only in the loading screen, i couldnt get it back or restore it anymore uncheck and lowering values does not work..
How did you get past the drilling bug. I'm currently stuck at the Insert Sensor mission. When I move to a different area on foot I end up in the rig again. Going back to Pickett's Folly starts the same mission again! It would be great if someone had a save that is after the Insert Sensor mission is completed please....really want to finish this game!
