Beginning on Friday, users of Ubisoft’s Uplay service (mandatory if you want to play their recent games, regardless of where you bought it from) noticed that Far Cry 4 was missing from their libraries and attempts to re-add it with their game key resulted in their key being banned and a notification to contact support, which is unavailable during the weekends.

Users on the forum report that the mass game removal was due to their purchase of the game on a key reseller, which according to Ubisoft, was an unauthorized reseller, despite not having an (easily searchable) list of authorized resellers.
This wouldn’t be the first time Ubisoft pulled something like this either. A quick Google search brings up plenty of results from Ubisoft’s forums dealing with similar issues in the past.

This honestly is not the best way for Ubisoft to handle this situation.
