The first batch did work and so did the FIXED Version but maybe that's just on my end but either way any version will work using the same principles used in the main post regardless if there's more files in the required contents or not. Glad to see it worked for you.
OK so that extracted fine on a full windows machine Couple of questions 1. Your picture of folder 2 contents afterwards doesn't have the $systemupdate$ folder above "Media" Is this essential and missing from your picture or do I not need it. 2. So now, as I have RGH and run from HDD, do I create an ISO from that lot, then use ISo2God again? Also meant to say that I updated my Dash 19757 last night, so I am assuming that system update folder is not needed.???
Yes, Just delete the system update folder and do the same for every extracted game unless you want to be prompted to update your system every now and then which also updates your console officially and renders your RGH capabilities useless. You don't have to convert to GOD Format, Just use xexmenu or FSD and navigate to the game and launch.
AT ALAAAAASSSSTTT Thanks my friend. Got there in the end. Works a treat thru the xex menu but have no idea how to get the FSD to see it with all my other games. This version is in the Games menu whereas my other games are the content\0000000000 folder BUT I can get it to work at least :-D
I extracted the complex iso Copied the files from installation 1 and 2 to my watchdogs game file It looked just like the pic in the first post Loaded game using the renamed game. Xex file Game loaded and boom disc unreadable
I have found the Dashboard version by going through the original dash system then console settings and I have 2.0.16202.0 So I guess this is supposed to be new enough to run this game? I have the P2P version if that matters? This isn't the only game giving me errors..... Again TIA
You will need to update you dash to the latest 1 and i have the P2P version as well but i used a different tut and i can not send a link as it is in the gold forums
Copy all the files/folders you see in installation1 and installation2 to Disc 2 folder. What's your dashboard version? (Minimum Dashboard Version Required: v2.0.16537.0) Some still report errors happening even after following the instructions. Most have incompatible Dashboard Versions and some have bad copies of the game.
I have the same problem as some of you have of disc unreadable error. I want to ask that contents of installation 1 and 2 would be copied to disk 2 through computer or FSD? Can we first extract dvd from FSD and then copy content of installtion 1 and 2 to disk 2 and then delete disk 1 ? And guide me about what you people talked about ISO to GOD convertion and what so ever..!! Is there any need of this type of conversion..!!
Use a Computer to extract and copy over whatever needed it'll be easier for you, It's not necessary to convert to GOD Format unless you need to.
How to extract as u mentioned above ? Can we use xbox image browser? And one thing more, After extracting dvd 1 and copying contents of installation 1 and 2 to dvd 2, what would be the next step? Extracting DVD 2 through FSD OR Installing dvd 2 or copying dvd 2 as a whole to hdd ?? Alhamdulillah I did it.. It works perfect..!!!! One last thing i wanna ask, Kindly explain more clearly about the deletion of default.xex and renaming game.xex as default.xex .!! Deleted default.xex original file and renamed the game.xex to default.xex but renaming didn't happend.. It still shows game.xex.!!! WHY ?
Backup, Rename or delete the original default.xex file, Launch game with "game.xex" or rename it to "default.xex" to launch with FSD. If you plan on using Title Updates, The original default.xex file must be present as well as the game.xex file and both must be untouched and unmodified. In this situation, You'll need to launch the game with "game.xex".
