    I suppose they mean to transfer the files to the xbox using Horizon (a tool that lets you inject files)

    Yes, it will still work as the installation data content is compatible with internal hdd, external hdd and the 4gb flash memory as the content is only 1.8GB in size.

    Can i download the fake DLC, then transfer them to my external HDD ( using PC ), then transfer them to my xbox 4gb flash memory ( using FSD) without injecting using Horizon?

    If you have an external HDD and (PC) then I would suppose horizon is the best way as it does the injection automatically for you (by this I mean, the right folder with all those zeroes etc). Otherwise it would be manual where you have to create the entire folder structure and then copy the files over. FSD's file manager can copy/move/delete but I dont know if it can do "injection". Hope this clarifies

    @master89
    Sorry I addressed you as Leecher. I mean to copy the name instead copied the title. Oops :(

    Hi,
    I have extracted both disc into my external HDD like so, " Usb0:\GAMES\Shadow of Mordor\Disc1, Usb0:\GAMES\Shadow of Mordor\Disc 2...When i try to open the default.xex file on disc 1 (using xexmenu ) to start the Automated in-game installation, it says
    " The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.

    Please, I think i'm doing something wrong, i tried methods other user posted...still nothing

    It's better that you update your console cos most new games require a dashboard version of 16537 and above.

    hey man i hope m not too late in posting a reply )
    so i hav the same thing, xbx360 4 gb with no internal hard disk and an external hard disk for games. But no 2 disc games i hav been able to run so far. When i bought the ext hdd first i plugged it into xbox and formatted it. Then i made a games folder on it and placed all my games in it and used xex menu to run the games. All games work fine except those which have the data to be put in contents folder. I made that folder and all the directory path properly, but still the games dont run. I hav had this issue with gta v first and now i am facing it with Middle Earth SoM. Any help is ighly appreciated :)
    P.S when i go to System settings and storage, the ext hdd shows as an unconfigured usb and not as a proper storage device, i dnt knw what that means i do undrstnd if the content folder needs to b read it should show as a storage device.

    Xbox 360 E 4GB JTagged, transcend 1TB external HDD

    hassan2040, What dashboard version are you on? I still stick to 17150, if your dashboard version is above 17150, it will be harder for me to help cos microsoft changed the formatting structure from version 17349 onwards.
