Just to get that right, i have to copy the content of "installation1"(USBMU0/Games/farcry4/Installation1/) into the the farcry 4 folder (USBMU0/Games/Farcry4) on my external Drive? Because that s what i did. Or do i need to copy anything on the internal Drive?
Your main games must be in the Usb0 Partition if you're using external hdd. If there are required Contents, It must go into the USBMU0 Partition. In your case For Example: Usb0 \ Games \ Far Cry 4 \ Extracted Files. Put the "installation1" folder contents into Far Cry 4 folder and overwrite any existing folders then run the game.
THANKS! Mac overwrites the content in the world folder, so u just need to copy the files in the Worlds folder!
I converted the complex iso (with italian) to GOD and running it form external hdd the game works flawlessly. Maybe you should try GOD instead of folder method.
I followed all the instructions and game loads and stuff, but when I get to a certain point it freezes every time (run to the truck, right when I reach the truck). I tried running it from fs dash and through xexmenu same thing happens. I have dash version 3.0b Rev 775, Kernel ver. 2.0 16537.0. Also when installing I extracted the iso instead of using God file with Xbox image creator. I copied all the installation folder contents directly to the main directory of far cry 4 before running the game. What and I doing wrong or what can I do to get it to not freeze. Thanks in advance for the help.
Hard to tell what could be the cause but here's some tips on how i would go about finding the issue, First thing i look at is dashlaunch then FSD, Then if the game is on the external or internal drive, Then test it in both GOD and Extracted Format and then test a different copy of the game. If the results are the same in the end, Then i think it's fair to conclude that the game itself is the problem or it doesn't play nice on modded consoles.
After trying nearly every method written on this thread, i still happen to encounter the unreadable disk error after the FC4 logo. Xbox 360 e Slim 4 GB Freestyledash 3.0 rev775 Kernel 16537 EDIT: Worked, retried this after deleting my save and it worked. Although I lost my progress as I was halfway through the game already.
well thx a lot for the tut but after i copied the installation file to hdd1/00000000..... i launched the game but the installation nvr started (it just ask me where to install and it just does not install after tht) pls reply thx
If anybody gets stuck on the loading screen , to fix it : Copy the files from HDD 1/Games/Farcry 4/installation1/worlds to HDD 1/Games/Farcry 4/worlds This will fix the loading screen error where the game won't load the bar fully! If you need help message me
