Where do you have your content on your PC? If the file names are too long, the program will skip that file. Personally, i put them in their default directories, and only have the ones i want installed. The rest are on my PC backed up. Love your console, don't put it through more stress than needed.
Nice tut mate and I wouldn't transfer all of them over to the xbox at once it will lag your console out like Stanton said just copy over the ones you want. I have all of the items near 8000 files and only about 60 off them on my RGH mostly cod items.
thanks again for all the replies.... tbh they are for my kids to play so i need to see what they like etc before i trim them down. I noticed that FTPing, connecting via SMB or even local USB transfer that the copy would terminate at 4096 files in the directory so I split them out into 4 TITLE IDs limiting 2500 items per folder and uploaded them all that way... happy days they will be stoked tomorrow. hmmm okay after messing around with my male avatar no problem, i switched to one of my kids (girls) and noticed that when dressing the character up it keeps crashing... could this be a rouge outfit or profile? lost count of how many times ive now had to power cycle the console...
Yeah, it's a missigned item. Corrupted in other words. Just see which item keeps up with the circle loading icon. That's more than likely the bad item. Then, either delete it, or move it and resign it with your XUIDs.
I get an error "Error reading or decrypting Profile..." when loading my profile from /Hdd1/Content/E00000********/FFFE07D1/00010000 (Using 360mpGui) Dash 16202 - it's an offline profile Any suggestions ?
You're extracting the profile first, right? Grab the profile off your console, then load it into 360MP.
Yes, i downloaded it to my computer and tried to open it in 360mp - and then the error came. Maybe new profile format with new dash? I doubt i've the wrong file so what else could it be ?
Try downloading it again. Could of been a bad transfer. To my knowledge, there aren't anymore new profile formats since the NXE dash.
I downloaded it like 20 times now - with no luck. YarisSwap 0.9 seems to have no problems loading it. But i don't know how to save the xuid in the profile in YarisSwap //EDIT Again - i download the file, save it localy and open it in 360mp. No steps between these ? As i said - YarisSwap can open it (seeing gamerpic, xuid = lots of zeros and so on)
@ Stanton: I dont know why and it freaks me out ... but right now before i wanted to send you the profile - it worked in 360mp (after i tried yaris, fluffie, ...) Thanks anyway - going to edit edit some avataritems now.
You need to download the official 15574 kernel update and run it. Like i said before, MAKE SURE it's the 15574 update. Not a newer one. It's working fine now? Good deal. May have just be signed wrong?
After patching my profile(s) with a xuid i can't change my avatar at all. When i'm loading the avatar-change-stage it shows me the green background and the loading circle. .. .and it loads, and loads, and loads. Even when i don't add any avatar-items at all. My dashboard: 16202 //EDIT My backup of my profile isn't working either. I can log in and it shows me my avatar, but i can't edit it anymore. What is going on there ? //EDIT2 Tried Avatar Editor v2 and same there - with different background (house - black/white). //EDIT3 Avatareditor of original-Dash is working but none of the avataritems seem to work with my dash :-( //EDIT4 Happy New Year //EDIT5 My first steps have been made with avatars of another source. Now i tried Stantons Avatars from http://www.xpgamesav...s/#.UFQ1ObKPVNw Same problem - i can't use the profile editor while in hacked dash (won't load) and in the original dash it shows them with an exclamation mark. (Dash 16202) My Steps: - copied all files in one directory - processed it with "directory maker" - ran the friday-patcher with the settings from the screenshot - ftp'd to my xbox and created the folder -> copied all files there (path: Hdd1/Content/lots-of-zeros/AAAAAAAA/00009000/) But still ... no way to see/choose the items (only hundreds of exclamation-marks) //EDIT6 Fixed my problem with avatar-editor not working in hacked dash. I still hat fakelive=true set. Fixing that i could open the editor and choose the new items, which showed the clothes-hanger icon and save my avatar.
