Required Contents are Located in Disc 1 and it's mandatory to Manually install it in order to play the game in which will take up approximately over 6.8GB in size.

(Load Disc 2 to play the Game)
If you load Disc 1 to play the game without a Disc auto-swap feature like in FSD, It will Cause a Fatal Crash.

Game is tested in Extracted Format (.xex).
    (Minimum Dashboard Version Required: v2.0.16537.0)

Required Contents are Compatible with the following Xbox 360 Configured/Formatted Storage Devices:
    • Internal Hard Drive.
The folder structure used is as follows:

Games \ Dragon Age Inquisition \ Disc 1 \ Extracted Files.
Games \ Dragon Age Inquisition \ Disc 2 \ Extracted Files.

(Required Contents Must Be Transferred Manually. For your curiosity, Here's a reference for the files location).

Folder Structure for Required Contents Installation To Internal Hard Drive:

    (Example) Hdd1 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 45410997 \ 00000002 \ 4541099700000000 (Dragon Age: Inquisition - 1)
    (Example) Hdd1 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 45410997 \ 00000002 \ 4541099700000001 (Dragon Age: Inquisition - 2)
    (Example) Hdd1 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 45410997 \ 00000002 \ 4541099700000002 (Dragon Age: Inquisition - 3)
    (Example) Hdd1 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 45410997 \ 00000002 \ 4541099700000003 (Dragon Age: Inquisition - 4)

    *For External Hard Drive Users:
In order to play the game using an External Storage Device, The 4 files of the Required Contents must be Individually Extracted using Horizon or a similar program.

Once each of those 4 files have been extracted, Combine them accordingly and copy them to the root of Disc 2 then Delete the "DA3.Splash.xex" file from Disc 2 and run the game.

The following pictures shows the Combined files and folders contained in the 4 Required Content files.

Thanks a lot for this tutorial. Sorry for the obvious dumb question but I just want to make sure there's no other way to install content than to an internal HDD. I have a rgh 360 but I use an external 500 GB HDD, is internal a must like in mgs V?

This then seems an "interesting" feature... If Far cry 4 and gta V work like that and they are very graphic heavy games, I womder why the hell would they not allow to take the same route. Not only that, I would think that this will create a backlash for all the people who still just have 4GB xbox and always used the external usb option...

Just so you all know, you just need to install disc one manually to the required directory. You are able to run disc 2 in any format - I'm running it as a GoD file right now without any issues.

Disc one must be installed on an internal hdd, disc 2 can be launched from anywhere.

Hi everyone, first time posting here !

I've found a way to play the game on the external HDD, finally. All you need to do is open Horizon and extract the 4 files in the content folder of the DVD 1. Then you copy the folders (only the folders) of the extracted files and paste it in the "Data" folder of the DVD 2.

After that, you delete the "DA3.Splash.xex" from the DVD 2 and you're done.

After all this, you folder need to have around 12 GB. Then you copy it to the external HD and play the game normaly,

For those wondering how to extract the files with horizon: Open horizon and click the "tool" tab on top. Click on "Package Manager", "Open" the files of the content folder of the DVD 1 and extract them. Then you do what i said above.

Forgive my english, i'm still learning it

    Bye :bye:

Thanks for the instructions, not working for me though, any chance you could post some pics of your final disc 2 folder so we can see where things need to go.

    Thanks in advance

lockn bro thats works for me. Thank you very much.

Guys you just need to extract content files from disk 1 with Horizon. After that copy everything inside to Disk 2 "data" folder.
