Try to Format an External Storage Device with your console, It should display the USBMU0 partition afterwards.

    Hi guys,

I have got a copy of the iMARS release and am having some troubles as a couple others in here.

I have copied the Content data and unlocked them with xm360, the campaign works perfectly, when going into multiplayer mode i get the message:

"The required content has been added to your active downloads. The content is free and is required to access mulitplayer".

Then i am forced back into the Main Menu.

I have copied the two Content files to:
    Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002
    Unlocked them

And have the Disk 2 contents in a God Container stored on my External HDD.

I have tested without any TU's applied and with the latest Tu9.

    Same deal.

    Can anyone please advise?

    Regards,
    Scott

The tutorial was tested on Single Player only, Anything related to multiplayer, you'll need to do some trial and error to get it working. On a side note, You shouldn't need to unlock any content if they're already unlocked in the first place otherwise it will corrupt the data.

I know how this tutorial doesn't work for some people.

    (Example) USBMU0 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002 \ 41560914051BF3C0 (Installer Package 01)
    (Example) USBMU0 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002 \ 4156091407406280 (Installer Package 02)

This 4156091407406280 and 41560914051BF3C0 are files. Don't creat folders, just copy to this folder 00000002 this files.

    Thas all.

    Hi.
    I have a 4gb jtag xbox 360. I have an xex menu.
No internal memory. I use a 32gb pendrive to play games.
    How to play COD AW?
I have tried by, formatting a portion of the pendrive with xbox format, used usbxtaf to inject the content folder along the data partition-content-0000000000000000-41560914-00000002-then the 2 installer packages. Then put disc 2 in both the formatted space and normal space with GOD format in pendrive. But the game does not launch either way.
I have tried many things but the console either freezes or the game does not start.
    Please help me out.

I don't recommend using GOD format for this method you're using however i would suggest the following:

    1. Play the game in extracted format.

    2. Format the usb stick so that you have enough formatted space for content data and non-formatted space for other files.

    3. Use FSD or xexmenu to transfer data between usb stick to console as usbxtaf sometimes corrupt data and doesn't show file transfer progress.

    4. Make sure you put the contents in the USBMU0 partition instead of Usb0 or other partition. do it like this:
    (Example) USBMU0 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002 \ 41560914051BF3C0 (Installer Package 01)
    (Example) USBMU0 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002 \ 4156091407406280 (Installer Package 02)

    5. Disable any plugins you have.

Thanks for the quick reply, But I only have 4gb internal memory. Cannot transfer any files to console.
Also please explain what is USBMU0 or Usb0 represent? Internal memeory unit and usb memory? I am not very clear on the terminology.
Please explain it to me as if I were a total noob. :)

You don't have to transfer anything to the console but if you need to organize your USB storage and its files, do it with the console using xexmenu or something similar.

USBMU0 and Usb0 represents partitions shown when you format an external usb storage with the console however there's 3 partitions that will be shown on each formatted external storage via the console:

Usb0, USBMU0 and USBMUCache0. These are some of the purposes that you can make use of with each partition.

Usb0 - You can store any files here just like a normal HDD.
USBMU0 - This is where you'll find the Content Folder to put HD Content, DLC, XBLA Games, Apps etc. most games won't accept HD Content on this partition but for COD Advanced Warfare it'll work.
USBMUCache0 - This is where your Title Updates that requires a Cache Directory goes to.

Remember that each digit at the end of each partition represents an External USB Storage order for example:

Usb0 - 1st plugged in External USB Storage
Usb1 - 2nd plugged in External USB Storage
Usb2 - 3rd plugged in External USB Storage and so on.

Internal memory unit and usb memory you ask? well Internal memory unit can be confusing sometimes but in this case it's better to use the term as Internal memory or Internal flash memory to refer to your non-removable storage like your 4GB storage.

usb memory refers to your External Storage Devices like External HDD and USB Sticks.

An Internal HDD is your Xbox 360 Hard Drive.

Hdd1 - represents your Internal HDD partition where you'll find both the Content and Cache Folder here.
OnBoardMU - represents your Internal memory that is your 4GB storage which you'll also find both the Content and Cache Folder here.

Yes, be sure to put the content in the USBMU0 partition.

Transfer the content from the computer to your usb storage as normal then pulg the usb storage to the console and use xexmenu to move the content to the USBMU0 partition within the same usb storage device.

    Thanks again.
Again though one more question, how to transfer the content folder with xex menu in xbox 360. Never tried to do something like that before.
So after just transferring the content folder to usb0, how to get it to usbmu0 with xex menu?

the best way you can learn xexmenu functions is to play around with the program as it has been awhile since I used xexmenu as a primary program for transferring files as i'm a little rusty myself however it's a beginner's 1st choice and I highly recommend you spend some time with xexmenu and familiarize yourself with it, you'll master it in just a day just be sure you don't delete anything important.
