Quick question: If I want to install the single-player campaign ONLY, how do I go about doing that? Thank you!
Single player and Multiplayer are on a single Disc so you wouldn't need to worry... Search the Tutorial Section for the basic stuffs you need to know.
I guess what I'm asking is, if I ONLY want the single-player campaign, do I not need to install certain things? Or is there no difference? Thanks!
This game has 2 Discs, One contains the Mandatory installation data and the other contains the Single player and Multiplayer game. In order to play the game, The Mandatory installation data must be installed and once that is done, The game should run fine afterwards without needing anything else.
Ooh, I see. I was led to believe Disc 1 was the single player and Disc 2 was MP. Got it - gonna grab both discs then, thanks.
EDIT: ALL SORT NOW. Run the game through abgx 2 times and now single player works.......................
Please help! I don't know much about this stuff but i did manage to play a few games on my xbox through ISO2GOD I use an external USB only, every time I try to copy files to my HDD (through FSD file manager) it tells me that I cannot copy to or from Root folders. I also don't know how to accsess my HDD through my PC. So I've tried copying the files exactly like the guide said, I placed Content on my USBMU0 and also USBMU1. I've set the content path to each of them at turn, but no matter what I try I always get the "clean disk, restart console." bug. How can I work around this? Would love to get your help. Thanks.
What's your console setup specs like? For Example: Tested on: XBOX 360 Slim 4GB Corona RGH Glitch 2 Dash: 16747 320GB Internal Hard Drive(OEM/Third Party) FSD 3 rev 775 xexmenu DashLaunch 3.12
Nomatter how many times i read and watch the install processes from this site and others, something is not working for alot of people. This includes me. When new procedures come out like this , there needs to be a complete idiot proof way to get this game working. For example, some question surrounds where the content folder should go... I use a external hdd and plug it into my pc to transfer files. I have a content folder on it and a games folder. This hdd is not seen by the xbox as being a save devise, but yet it works fine for me to launch games via dashlaunch, fds3 and xexmenu. So is this content folder the problem and it should acually go into the internal hdd of my xbox? dose this make a difference? Oh, and my second concern that is not addressed, I have heard that some files need to be manually installed. Meaning.... from what i take from that is.... in the content folder of the 416 blah blah blah, you have 2 files i believe. These are like packages. well some people say just drag and drop the folder and your good to go, others say that you must extract these install packages one by one. well i can extract them useing horizon or xbox image browser, but than what? after i extract these packages , where do you put them? back in the content folder? lol. all i know is, i get a dirty disk error when i boot the game up. You need to Configure/Format your external hdd with your console so it can read you external drive and it will also create additional partitions for each external storage for example: 1st External USB Storage= Usb0, USBMU0 and USBMUCache0 2nd External USB Storage= Usb1, USBMU1 and USBMUCache1 3rd External USB Storage= Usb2, USBMU2 and USBMUCache2 and so on... A Content folder will also be created for you which will be in the USBMU0, USBMU1 and USBMU2 Partitions where the game's additional contents should go to and not the content folder you created yourself, That's only for third party apps like FSD xexmenu etc. You don't need to individually extract the additional content file packages, One of the game that uses this method is the Dragon Age: Inquisition game.
I was able to install and play dragon age. I have not gotten alien isolation working however. I think if i get xexmenu and move the content folder of advance warefare from the external hdd to the 20 gig hd that the xbox recignizes, i should be fine... i think. I never got to configureing my external hdd to be seen by xbox cause i didnt want a ton of small partions on it, this is going back a few years, maybe could get around it now. However, at this point i dont want to configure it, cause i would loose all my games i have on it. It has worked fine with every game except some of these newer ones that require installing. Another odd thing i have noticed is that i dont actually have xexmenu, i looked everywhere. i have fds and dashlaunch and xell if i press eject. I think i need xexmenu first, in order to move the content folder over to the other hdd that the xbox sees. If i remember right,i know i had xexmenu at some point, but i bet it was on a cd and once i got fds3 to load on startup, i discarded the disk. i am going to get xexmenu and put it in my 16 os folder on my external hdd. Than i think i can just launch it from file browser of fds3.
I might be asking for a little too much but can you please post a video or mail a link to it in which proper procedure is explained for running the game. i'm actually just a gamer and not a big techie so don't understand much of the written stuff. So, please its a request if i can have some visual help. If you can mail me a link then my id is dawarbhavya@yahoo.com Thanks
i cannot copy from (root) to this USBMU0 \ Content \ 0000000000000000 \ 41560914 \ 00000002 \ 41560914051BF3C0 (Installer Package 01). so how?
You can either open freestyle dash and go through file manager, select the folder on the right side that you want to install the file, now go back to the left window and navigate to your file, dont press A just yet, hold down the RB button and press A. Your files should now start transferring, if that doesnt work you will have to plug your usb int your PC and use a program like Party Buffallo Explorer, select your drive and simply drag and drop the file into the right folder. hope that helps
I've never had these problems installing a game before. I have a pure Jasper JTAG, with a big internal HDD. I am on the latest dashboard, and dashlaunch 3.12. I have the iMars release, and have run it through abgx360 several times. Everything is verified. I copied the disc 1 contents folder to the content/0000000000/COD#/etc folder (using Filezilla), and copied the ripped disc2 (xex) folder to my games folder the same way. When I start the game with FSD, it looks great until I select difficulty and hit start, and I immediately get the dirty disc screen. Oh, and I also cleared my cache. Would transferring the content data using Horizon make any difference? Do those two files in the content folder of d1 need to be extracted somehow? I've looked at several tutorials and none indicate this. I have successfully installed many games including GTAV with no issues, but this one appears to be a frog I can't swallow. Any help would be appreciated! Edit: I deleted everything, ripped the disc 2 .iso again, and transferred to xbox hdd. Then, I used Horizon and a USB stick to transfer the content from disc 1. Now everything works fine! I have no idea if it was using the stick, or just the 3rd rip and transfer. Why would Horizon do a better job than FTP?
Where exactly do the extracted contents (3.8GB) go? Can someone point to the exact folder where to place the extracted contents of Disk 1 and Disk 2?
Hello to everyvone.Does anyone know why when i start campaign the game says "the content is no longer available"?And the game is only in Portguese?
