A friend of mine asked if he could play original games on his flashed console, he's been playing THE SITE THAT CANNOT BE MENTIONED FOR LEGAL REASONS copies for some time and just yesterday he told me he wanted to be a legit gamer and get rid of his burned games. The problem is he's afraid of getting banned from Xbox Live because he's using a flashed console, from what I know, it probably won't get him banned but I'll just share it here to get some advice and help others :LOL:
As always with flashed consoles you have a risk of ban, but if all your games are paid for, you're most likely fine. If not you can always sell the console on eBay and get a new 360e
He won't ever be playing burned copies and he'll be buying genuine games, will the risk of ban persist? Btw it's not me, I'm happy with my RGH >.<
Yeah I get it. I think he'll be fine to be honest, a lot of people play burned copies online. There's always a risk, but I'd say it's highly unlikely.
he will be fine burnt or ripped games just knackers your laser out after a long time if he is running lt3,0 and are burnt 100% with img burn and stealth patched with abgx he will be fine, I don't see why he would want to spend hard cash on some thing you can get for nothing.?
That's good news, but bad news for me as I'll have to explain to him slowly lol...he's disabled (lost hearing). Anyways I'll do some research first
He wont get banned, I had a flashed console for ages, played all my games offline with it. But only one game I ever bought was the Fifa series and I played that online with a legit disc on the same console. Never had a problem. Plenty of my mates did the same and they all ok to.! I'm fairly sure you can ask anyone here at XPG about it, yep always the risk of a ban, but it wont happen. Your friend is safe
