Update to my above post, figured out why the trainer wasn't popping up, but now getting the exact same problem as some others here: Again, no TU, no plugins, no DLC. Even tried uninstalling DL and running straight through XeXMenu, same problem. Not sure why this works for some but not for others.
I downloaded it from the links in the OP. Also tried both links, trainer v7 with launcher.xex and tr01.xex files, and team xpg need for speed most wanted 2 with enginedll.xex and trainer_launcher.xex in it. Put all 4 files in the game folder and tried running both launcher.xex and trainer_launcher.xex and they both have the same problem. Thanks for the effort/reply
Ok I think I figured out the problem for those still having the issue. The game HAS to be in a folder called "need for speed most wanted 2" exactly typed how the OP says, any other folder name did not work (may or may not be case sensitive, I didn't try). The game also has to be extracted, not in GOD format, GOD format did not work at all, it just kept saying game failed to start and kicking back to dashboard. Again, this is with no TU's, no plugins enabled and no DLC, not tested with TU/plugins/DLC, try those at your own risk. Mystery solved! Thank you for the trainer, DJWeed.
having trouble getting the trainer to work after i got dlc for it? does it not work with the dlc or do i need a new trainer?
I have done all of this and I am still receiving only one option. I cant seem to find an answer to this problem. Any help is appreciated.
