Varangian Guard - Elite Axe Unit The Varangian Guard are now one of the most fierce axe units Attila has seen. With the release of this mod, these units will reek havoc on whom dear to fight them, With that being said, this units is extremely expensive but it's worth every penny to see there attack, skills, armor and just pure rage to decimate the enemy. Varangian are a 2 handed axe unit keeping them vulnerable to archers and heavy artillery. To recruit these units, you'll need a level 4 barracks.
