The Solus Project will be coming to Xbox One via the Xbox Game Preview program next month, Grip Games has announced. A first-person adventure game in which you're marooned on a deserted planet when your ship crash-lands, killing the rest of your crew, The Solus Project tasks you with exploring your barren surroundings to gather resources essential for your survival.The twist is, The Solus Project is actually a linear single-player experience featuring ten large, complex environments to explore, before you discover that you're not the first intelligent being to have set foot on the planet. With mankind teetering on the brink of extinction, you're also the last hope to build a safe haven for a human colony, meaning your survival is vital for the continuation of mankind.The Solus Project is described as "an experience of intense isolation," says Grip Games, with you light years from any human contact or rescue ships of any kind. 'Solus' is Latin for 'alone'. The Solus Project will be coming to the Xbox Game Preview program for Xbox One in early February.
