Well, the worst-kept gaming secret of 2014 is out of the bag and The Last Of Us Remastered on PS4 has been officially revealed by Sony. After, y’know, all those unofficial reveals. Finally able to speak freely about the game, Naughty Dog‘s filled in a few important details. Included with the Remastered version are the Abandoned & Reclaimed Territories and Left Behind DLC packs, which add to the game’s multiplayer and solo experience, respectively. Naturally, the game runs at 1080p this time out, and although the team’s aiming for silky smooth 60 frames per second, it’s yet to be locked down. There are higher resolution character models and increased draw distances in the PS4 version though, say Naughty Dog’s Bruce Straley and Evan Wells. Speaking with PlayStation Access, the pair also revealed that the PS4 version’s began development “pretty much as soon as we finished the PlayStation 3 [game]“. Early indications suggest the game will go on sale at full price, and no mention has been made of a discount for PS3 owners. Source - OPM
