The Last of Us Reclaimed Territories and new weapons

A trailer published Monday demonstrates the new weapons and battlegrounds headed to The Last of Us this week.

The maps, weapons, skills, and new single-player difficulty are available individually or together as the third and final Last of Us Season Pass content drop.

In Grounded mode "the AI is relentless, smart, and brutal, and survival will be near impossible," Naughty Dog says. It will be priced at $4.99 standalone.

The DLC will also include the Reclaimed Territories map pack, featuring four new multiplayer arenas: the Wharf from near the beginning of the game, the Capital in Boston, a Coal Mine in Colorado, and Lincoln, PA map Water Tower. The map pack will cost $9.99 for non-season pass holders.

Four new weapons, the Specter silenced assault rifle, Double Barrel shotgun, Enforcer pistol, and explosive Launcher will be available for free as part of pre-set loadouts, or as part of a $5.99 Survivalist Weapon Bundle outside the season pass. Several new survival skills will be priced at $3.99 apiece.

Sony has confirmed that The Last of Us Remastered will arrive on PS4 later this year. Priced at $59.99, the title will feature multiple graphical improvements over 2013's PS3 original, plus DLC including the Left Behind single-player add-on.

Naughty Dog plans to host a Twitch livestream showing off the new content Monday at 12pm PT/8pm UK.
