Remember when Bethesda said it was giving away $1 million to people playing The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited? Well, you too can now get in on the action without having to spend money on purchasing the game, as The Elder Scrolls Online will be free to play all this weekend on Xbox One and PC.​

From Thursday, 10th December at 08:01am GMT until Monday, 14th December 08.00am GMT, you'll be able to get in on the free Elder Scrolls Online weekend, and make yourself eligible for the $1 million prize in the process. Download The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, enjoy the free weekend, and then you can purchase the game at a 60% discount, porting across your progress, while in-game currency will also be on offer at a discount during the free play weekend, as follows:​

• 1,500 crown packs will be 25% off
• 3,000 crown packs will be 33% off
• 5,500 crown packs will be 40% off

Using Crowns, you can purchase in-game items, expansions and more. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.​
