It seems like the speed shoes make Sonic run "normal". Meaning you don't need to hold the run button. Not only that, but you'll have full control over your speed when tilting the left analog like in other Sonic games (unlike how sensitive a tilted analog's deadzone is while holding the run button). If someone can make "infinite speed shoes" as an option (without the music), that'd be cool too.
