There is no infinate health when the Alien gets you, its game over no matter what, on any difficulty. If you go into options you can change the difficulty to medium or easy. Which I would recommend since the Alien is devastatingly hard even on easy, complete the game on easy then go on to higher difficulties as I believe you get to keep tools, weapons, etc on NewGame+. But I have not finished it, at this moment I am trying to lock down one of the towers, right after you get the flamethrower. This is an incredibly difficult game to say the least.
Tanx for the advice Coragin! That's what I think as well. The trainer is working mostly in survival mode, but not all the time. I am going to start the game over tonight on easy and see if it makes a difference. Either way the game is very nice but difficult at the same. Anytime. I had been waiting for this game for a long long time. I have worn out youtube videos from watching so many times. Dont get me wrong, its got issues, like lip sync being horrible if not in a cutscene, the Alien being a total asshole even on easy. But the story is so damn good. I really hope this trainer gets updated to have unlimited flamethrower fuel and no reload. That is the only way to get rid of the Alien for at least 30 seconds he will run away back into the vents. If I knew where to find the savegame, I would totally upload it so they can do the updates.
Why is it necessary to make a reply in the topic in order to view the content? That's basically asking for spam. People say 'thanks' to be grateful for the work, but 'thanks' come with the assumption that the trainer works as advertised, and that doesn't seem to be the case. We need to test the content to see if it works properly before giving due courtesy.
I have given him saves already on Saturday so he can do the update but it looks like it may not come. :-( Unless someone else is going to look at this it may be all we are going to get on this trainer.
