Okay per request I went and made an editor for agarest generation of war zero. Since I already made one for the first game I decided to just turn it into an AIO. Now I used my own protector for this editor to protect my work so it may give a false positive because of the packing method I used to pack my executable so no n00bs could dump it. Anyways what my editor does: Mods all stats for both games. Image: Anyways agarest zero is tested and it has the same checksum as agarest generations had so it was easy to make this editor. Instructions: PC menu strip to open pc save and reg open for opening xbox 360 same for saving. Enjoy. Note: for xbox 360 saves all you need to do is get the saves off your hdd/usb and open them as-is no need to extract or rehash or resign as the tool does it for you. Download Link: REMOVED. Thank you Thanks xpgobyto got a bit lazy on it as I done the research a long time ago and just felt like coding it now that I got a request to do so.
thanks I need some pc saves to see if the structure for the unlocks are the same as for xbox 360 and if they are then I can add unlock everything features and max affections since I found those addresses in xbox 360 saves and tested it working. Just need some pc saves to test.
It keeps corrupting saves or making them disappear. I'm not really sure why. I'm using the PC version btw
It doesn't do that for me so weird >.> maybe something on your end. it also supports xbox 360 so make sure your opening it the correct way.
Could it be that you have to reach a certain point in the story first? Or that Agarest.exe has to be placed in a certain folder? Here's what I'm doing: going to Agarest Zero tab File>>PC>>open agarest03.sav make changes File>> Save PC Sorry if I've made a mistake I'm kinda dumb ._.
Well for character stats make them 999 and health 99999 max. If you put the values too high it should mess up the game. I just tried modding a new game as I never played the pc version. I just downloaded it and got to the first save location and modded the save and tested it worked.
Hmm, I've tried only modding it slightly. Seems that trying to save at all corrupts it. Ah well, maybe it's just not for me. Still, awesome that you put the work into making this. It's nice to see others who like this game so much :^) UPDATE: I actually got one of the saves to "uncorrupt". I think there were two issues: 1) Steam has to be competely closed before making edits. 2) the Agarest.exe wasn't closing completely when you X out, it needs to be ended through task manager. So for anyone having the problems I've had, it's worth noting that your save isn't necessarily gone for good. I'll test the process a bit more to see if I've got it down.
