Strange profile corruption problem

    I have been baffled by my bro-in-laws problem:

    He has 1 xbox at his mums and 1 at his dads, he takes his profile from his dads on a usb stick, when he brings it back to his dads the profile is always corrupted, I thought he must be doing something, but he brought his xbox round to me to update and flash, I tested it by using my profile, sure enough when I put my profile back into my 360 it had corrupted it.

    Any1 heard of this or know of a fix?

    mine does that with the wifes console...no fix mate really...i just have a profile here and on hers

    sound like a bad memory card or hard drive , even possible banned console.

    Recover the profile to rebuild the pointers, and check that the usb drive isnt faulty.

    well I thought it must of been his hdd so I told him to use a usb stick (it corrupted my profile on a old mu)
    It has corrupted profiles on every storage device that has been used.
    both his consoles are NOT banned as he uses them on live

    consoles dont need to be banned to flag and coruppt data, see if it fail ap25 challange.

    sounds like console is flagged. y dont he just leave a copy of profile on both consoles and use usb for saves,
    saves will still be coruppt going between consoles, just copy save not move them, so he always got clean saves. or he could use batch con flag remover
