Sony explains how it’s upcoming SharePlay feature will work, this lets you remotely play a friend’s PS4 game even if you don’t own a copy. Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studio, explained how it works. Think of it as a mini PlayStation Now. In the interview Yoshida also comfirmed that any game which is played with a DualShock 4 (i.e not a Play Room game) will be compatible with SharePlay. Shareplay also allows you to save game data onto your own account. So, for example, if you make it half way through a game via SharePlay before deciding to buy your own copy, you can pick up where you left off on your own console. SharePlay is coming with the 2.0 system update due for PS4 later this year.
