I'm sure most of you have come across a quest that you could not finish because of a bug. Well, this thread will teach you how to find a solution that will fix that. I'll be using "The Affairs of Hagravens" quest as an example. 1. Search the quest list for your quest that is bugged/broken. Click on the quest link. 2. Scroll down to the Quest Stages table. You'll see next to the quest name there is a quest ID in parenthesis. .................Quest Name.................Quest ID......... The Affairs of Hagravens (dunBlindCliffQST) 3. Look at the table and confirm what stage you are at. ..Stage Value........................Journal Entry........ .......10...............|............Kill the Hagraven.... ......100..............| ........................................... ......200..............|.........The Hagraven is dead 4. Then you create your console command by combining the setstage command, quest ID, and stage value. The end result looks like this: setstage dunBlindCliffQST 200 5a. If you have the PC version of Skyrim open your console command by pressing ~ and the enter your command and hit enter. Done. That stage of the quest will then be complete. 5b. If you don't have the PC version you can always make a request at one of the many Skyrim Mod Requests threads.
