Sherlock Holmes Crimes & Punishments dev Frogwares has announced a new instalment in the iconic sleuth series with Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, due for release in 2016. Based upon Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic detective stories, this eighth title in the series will see Sherlock taking on a range of new cases.Sherlock will investigate deadly new suspects in five different cases, with an "expansive landscape of playable terrain" available to explore freely. There'll be fast-paced action sequences, new game mechanics and "state-of-the-art" graphics that promise to bring Victorian London alive."For the first time in his storied career, Sherlock Holmes’ ruthless logic is overwhelmed by family stories, irresistible emotions and an occult revenge," the press release adds. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter launches in spring 2016 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Check out the first screens below.
