The GPD's themselves are giving me an error when I try to open them in a GPD-Viewer; and they don't seem to retain the achievement images either. We will need to find a way to convert them to exGPD before I can post them in the collection. Perhaps start at the source. +Rep for effort though ... let's see if we can resolve this issue. I'm going to be the noob and ask can anyone give me a clear list of instructions or a link telling me how to change my gpd's into exgpd's as i could not find the tut mentioned earlier
The tutorial mentioned is here: http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/56162-tutorial-add-games-gpd-to-your-profile-using-le-fluffie/ The basic idea is, using LeFluffie & Horizon; you add the .GPD file to your profile (If it's not already in your profile). Once everything is saved & good to go - Open up your profile in exProfileEditor and now you will be able to export that title (with all it's achievements & images) as an exGPD (For this you can follow the video here: http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/70897-share-exgpd-gpd-repository-unlocked-achievements/?p=364650) For all of this, you do need basic knowledge of opening & saving profiles in both exProfileEditor & Le Fluffie and the use of Horizon. Otherwise you will need to scavenge some other basic tutorials first on those topics before you can dive into exGPD's. Let us know how you make out. Thanks.
** Quick Note ** Guys, I'm realizing some of you are not clear on the process and are getting confused about CONVERTING from GPD to exGPD. Let me clarify this issue. If you Already HAVE the Game/Title in your Profile, you don't need to convert the GPD to exGPD, you simply need to Export/Create your title as an exGPD using exProfileEditor's exGPD feature. So in other words, use this video tutorial I created: http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/70897-share-exgpd-gpd-repository-unlocked-achievements/?p=364650 to CREATE/EXPORT a game in your profile as an exGPD. You only need to convert from GPD to exGPD if you *DONT* have the game in your profile already. And how we do that is by adding the gpd to your profile using Le Fluffie; once the gpd is in your profile - follow the above procedure for the Creating exGPD. Just remember to download & correct ALL Achievement Images & TileImages before creating the exGPD. The thread requires all Achievements unlocked in Legit-Order and also all Achievement & TileImages intact. There is no need to convert a .GPD to an .exGPD file if the game is already in your profile. I found a bug in the new version, the program is not reading any exGPD, created in previous versions of the program. mickey79, you can even check it, I opened a GPD that I posted earlier here on the topic, and the same in the new program will not open, the error you spoke.
That's odd -- I just tried on my end & everything is working fine! I just opened a couple old exGPD's I had from way before; the latest exProfileEditor was able to read them & add them to my profile. I'm using version 2.0.682.2, which one are you using? Which exGPD/Title did you try? Let me know.
