Yes, indeed the online timestamps are perhaps the one downside to the library but online titles can be hidden reasonably quickly. If for example you have someone in your friends list who scrutinizes every game you play & how/when you unlock the achievements then yes this is risky business. If you are also on some kind of achievement tracking website such as Trueachievements or Xbox360a then I would also discourage adding online exGPDs...that being said when you go to add the exGPDs to your profile you can simply lock the online components (achievements wise) that way if you wish to pursue them yourself legitimately you won't have the uncertainty! There could be other feasible loopholes but to me, the options I have mentioned are probably the least amount of stress involved!

You also mention manually inputting time stamps, this is also an option but if not done properly they will not stick and then you need to clean up the error asap so that you arent detected. I see no reason why microsoft would suddenly detect a jump in 1000k with timestamps from years before...as the thread creator has stated at least half a dozen times through out this thread, you may get banned for adding as much as 5G or you might add 100,000G and not get detected...it is simply the nature of the beast.Go with your gut feeling but when I had a stint where I was offline I added something like 60,000G all with timestamps from before I was offline and I have yet to be KO'd by the banhammer. Just be smart when using the library.

There are tutorials back on page 1 regarding how to use exPE for the sake of adding games from the archive, hopefully that should help!

Last question about this topic, what happen with games that save the progress on gpd?

How exactly does it with games such as Dark or Aliens: Colonial Marines save your progress in the profile? For Microsoft, it would be a simple way to look at any game all gamerscore are unlocked, but the progress in the profile is missing.

i check this out with a dummy profile. now i have 1000 gamerscore in call of duty 2, but when i start the game and go to mission select, all missions are locked and thats not good, because this is a hint for cheaters. how can i look them more legit?

 

Yeah I get what you mean GOW does this as well I believe...I don't think that it would be an issue to be honest unless someone reports you...just like adding any exGPD you are at risk of being detected...so it would be no more or less a risk than any other one really...

 

Of course, this is what happens when you add the exGPD to your profile, you will not have an actual save file for the game just the data that you have played the game and met the requirements for the achievements...if you wish to have an actual save file you will only be able to get 100% complete GPD's for games that save the stats to the individual profile, even there you have to do certain things to get those stats to stick to your profile (again I draw on GOW as an example).

Call of Duty 2 oder Aliens: Colonial Marines are games, they should save the progres to the profile. i don't know how, but when i save with gpd i didn't got the save progress to look it more legit.

if someone or microsoft load up call of duty 2 they see, i never play the game legit, because i didn't have any progress on my profil. i think its the same with gow.

 

ok, in the GOW series with seriously 1.0 & 2.0 for example you could get them to pop without meeting the requirements if you first sign in with a profile that has the achievements by quickly signing with a profile without it, it basically just pops...

thats what I mean in regards to doing certain things to get stats to stick...

Basically if you are at all concerned about being detected then you do not need to use exGPDs, it is not the only method to add gamerscore or finish games...in my opinion Aliens:Colonial Marines was super easy anyway

Just to let you good folks know, the move finished sooner then expected. The Library should be up & running at this point. There might be extremely rare, intermittent downtime, but for the most part it should be smooth sailing hereon.

Hey Artifcial Sentient, I was looking through the first 15 pages of this thread and noticed that you have uploaded Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to the library... but when I went on there was only the german version /: I was just curious if it is possible for you to upload this file again or be able to publish it. I really liked the game ages ago but now it just feels terrible to play with taking into consideration all the beautiful games like GTA V et.

Hi all and sorry the long absence I dropped my laptop and had it repaired! I hope all is going well with the archive...unfortunately I lost my HDD in the damage done to it and so I have nothing anymore so I will need to go through the whole process again of converting all my GPD's into exGPD's (for my own OCD's sake).

In regards to your request yes I can have both versions of the exGPD just as soon as I have the time
