Guys - I'm looking into this. Will get back shortly. UPDATE. Library will be down while I figure this out. Please DO NOT UPLOAD any exGPD's. You will receive an error. I believe the exact opposite of what conspired last time seems to have occurred. While this time I have the full site & the entire database intact & available in backups; It is possible I lost all the exGPD's themselves. I was using an external online storage account for storing the exGPD files; the domain name & server connections were linked to this online storage account. It appears the provider (company which provided the online storage service) wrapped up it's operations & disappeared off the face of the earth. Along with it, all the data seems to have gone as well. From what I can gather, they ran into some legal troubles where they were hosting files. I'm not sure. I'm searching frantically for my offline backups and somehow I'm not finding them. I was so concerned about Database backups last time around that I didn't care to give too much attention to the actual Files themselves. I just trusted the online service as I was paying for it. They actually owe a refund at this point which I'm not hoping to see ever. BEST CASE SCENARIO: I will find a backup of the exGPD's and everything will go back to normal. WORST CASE SCENARIO: I will not find the backup; this means everyone will have to re-upload all of their exGPD's again. There is a silver lining to it though - When we lost our database, we had also lost all the Credits to everyone. If everyone has to re-upload their exGPD's again, obviously everyone will have their credits back. Either way, I need to redefine the storage location. I have my own Server now so everything will be local / in-house. I won't be purchasing online storage space again. Everything will be hosted locally so I won't be dependent on an external service provider running away with my data. I will have local backups in case of server failure, etc. Will let you guys know what happens. In the meantime, it wouldn't be a bad idea for you guys to get your exGPD's together so you can start re-uploading once I'm ready with everything; in case I'm unable to recover the backups. Thanks.
UPDATE - 05/28/14 : 1509 hrs So it does appear I lost all the exGPD's. I'm working hard & fast to get the Library working again; it will be an improvement over the previous version. What we lost: All the exGPD's. This means everyone will need to start chipping in & upload their exGPD's. What we gained: A fresh start. After the previous database loss, all the credits were lost & I was finding it hard to integrate a Login / Management system on to the existing interface. Now that I'm starting from scratch, there will be a Login / Register system from the start which will further on be expanded to manage your uploads. Everyone will have credits again as you'll be uploading with your own username/password. Furthermore, the entire Library - including the files & the database - will be hosted on my personal server. No more outsourcing; no external services. Everything will be in-house. I will have complete control over data; including persistent backups. This loss will not be repeated. Will keep you guys posted as soon as something is up.
exGPD Library is back online!! As you all know we lost the exGPD's (thanks to swindle companies operating online), we will need to re-upload exGPD's again. I request all past, present & new uploaders to come forward & start uploading your exGPD's. Some noteworthy changes: - The entire library & website is now hosted in-house on my personal server; there are no subscriptions or outsourcing to external vendors. Everything is on my personal machine. Persistent daily backups will eliminate the possibility of any further loss of data, including exGPD files & databases. - There is a LOGIN system for uploaders. You can still continue to download & browse exGPD's without registering. However, in order to become an uploader & upload exGPD's, you must register. You will be able to login using your account thereafter. - You will no longer need to specify your username while uploading. Once you login, all your uploads will carry your username automatically. - The library is now available on the primary domain name: http://www.luci5r.com I'm working on the Upload Management system which will allow you to make changes to your Uploads, including editing Title Name and Deleting uploads. Will let you know once that is ready. As always; new scripts were implemented & new features were added - with all things new come new & undetected bugs. If you SEE something, SAY something. Thanks!
I have uploaded all the ones I had floating around on my harddrive. When uploading I did notice it kept popping up with error stating Sorry the file XXX already exists I guess it's just one of the bugs you mentioned.
Great going Mort! I see the Library is starting to have some titles already. I'll take some time out to upload a few myself today and hopefully others will start chipping in. Yes, I am aware of that bug. It's very random, I'm not exactly sure what's causing it. I do know that even though it displays that message - it does still upload everything appropriately. And if the file truly does exist - it will omit it. So the function is working, but the notification seems to be popping up either way. Did you try using a browser other then Internet Explorer? Is it doing the same? Anyhow, the Management module is very close to completion. I'm hoping to have it ready today. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks. UPDATE 05/30/14 : 0859 Hrs The Uploads Management area is online! Upon login, you will find a small menu at the top-right corner that allows you to navigate between the Library, Upload page & the Management page. The Management area currently allows you to edit the Title of your uploads; this is useful when you upload a Title and find that it didn't pick up the right title name or didn't pick up a name at all. The error was popping up while using Firefox. I am just editing a few I uploaded so they have the names and is there any chance you can add little description bit so people can post if it's 1000 or say 1100 so people know if it includes dlc scores?
What would happen if you already had achievements in a game and you replaced the GPD for it? Edit: I think it would be really nice to have an indicator next to the gpds that said if the game has online achievements or not
I don't see how online achievement indicator is really useful or needed (if you add gpd and don't want them as unlocked online just click on them set them to unlocked offline) There is websites that has a complete list of games achievements if you want to know those details these gpd are for complete gamerscore be it 1000 for retail or 200 for arcade. The only extra thing I think which would be useful is which I mentioned in another post is detail for each game in database if it is complete with or without dlc achievements included in that gpd.
You could think of it as a disclaimer for the stupid...if you see a green dot next to a exGPD it has online achievements so you need to use it at your own risk, and all bans, gamerscore resets etc are at the fault of the user who added an online exGPD to their profile in the first place. Or something along those lines!You would be correct though it isn't really necessary but it could make the display aesthetics even more pleasing! Edit: Also with the DLC thing, that could be useful but the login management system its going to be much easier to edit these files now than before!
YES I CAN!! I think that's a terrific idea Mort! I cannot add a Comments field in the main Upload program, due to the architecture of the script that handles uploads - it's difficult to insert a unique field for each upload item; HOWEVER, I can definitely add a COMMENTS field on the Edit page. Therein you can go back and add any kind of a Comment you like for any of your uploads. This could be really useful; not just for adding comments about DLC, but anything else the uploader wishes to say about that particular exGPD. Thanks! I don't think it's such a bad idea. Just like COMMENTS, I can add this to the Edit page and make it an optional field - uploader does not have to select this option, it's entirely upto them. I will make this a Radio Button with a simple "Yes" or "No" choice. If left blank, it will simply say Unknown. Will get back to you guys once the feature is ready. As some of you know, I had sent out a message to all previous uploaders; the original contributors, requesting them to re-upload their exGPD's. Some of them got my message & jumped in; others are still missing. I took the liberty of creating accounts for some of these & was able to recover their previous uploads from their mediafire links posted in this thread. I just finished uploading their exGPD's under their accounts. We're now up to almost 300 exGPDs. A few technical / design changes: - Upload limit has been raised to 10 files at a time. This may go up even further to 20 if I don't see any errors over the next few days. - On the homepage, next to each uploader's name (in the browse section) there is now a Count / Number displayed which is the number of uploads by that user. - For now, I have removed the very annoying Alert about duplicate filename that seems to be popping up in error. Although the "if file exists" function is working properly - and will only upload unique files & disregard duplicate files, for some reason the Alert appears regardless. So I removed it. You will no longer see the Alert. However, note that if you do upload duplicate, they will be gracefully rejected by the Server. Only unique uploads will carry. Thanks.

I was looking through my exGPD library I had actually saved the library to the 3rd of july last year at that point there were around 420 odd files, if you like I can send this to you Mickey in case none of the original uploaders come back to place their files up
Something I just want people to know you should not play with any sort of PC game (such as Halo 2) with this because you can unlock them and they show up as unlocked on the 360 but you do not get the gamerscore and they still show as locked on the actual Halo 2 game when you sign in. (If this changes or I am eventually banned I will provide that information in an edit) Update: I decided to delete my account and redownload it and it relocked my Halo 2 achievements sooo not sure what is going to happen now. But my spartan assault achievements stayed unlocked. Also, my achievment score on 360 doesn't seem to update correctly until I get an achievement but then I delete my account and it takes it back down so I'm not sure what is causing that. Update 2: I forgot to mention that I unlocked achievements for the phone version of SA and those also relocked. So it seems that it will only work for games that are played on the 360. It might have seemed obvious to some but I just wanted this information to be out there.
Your point is interesting and had been addressed by someone earlier on, I do not understand why this would be the case though...id be interested if this could be tested by others too...otherwise and im only spitballing as being the sole contributor of GFWL titles I cant test it myself without using dummies (pointless) maybe add the exGPDs to your profile then using exPE to just add the achievements in the same pattern as I have? With the comments section for the files I can now write the order of the achievements that were unlocked... Are you also stating that the windows phone & windows 8 games dont appear to work either?
I think so. I would have tried it with the computer version of SA as well but I already completed that one (I'm a sucker that bought all 4 very early on) But no the Windows Phone version reverted just like H2V. Based on that I would assume the same would happen with W8 games. I'm thinking this is strictly for 360 games. Funny story about my SRIV experience. I played the game offline because you know *coughjtagcough* and got 49 out of 50 achievements because they have that one in the original 50 for uploading a character. So I went out and rented the game for about 5 minutes just for that one achievement. Now obviously after DLC I don't have 100% anymore. But I might think about going back and doing that because I really enjoy SR and if I do I would be glad to upload my gpd. TL;DR one day son
Sure. What I want you to do is first upload all of your Uploads under your account. At that point we should have everything we're possibly going to have from original uploaders uploaded; as I already uploaded on behalf of the missing uploaders. I don't expect them to come back. Once you've done yours - I can take this backup you have & upload everything; most of it should be rejected for already being there - anything leftover - most likely very small, will get upped.
