Just uploaded 100% legit order Phantasy Star Universe + DLC: Ambition of the Illuminus pack hope you enjoy
Sorry I've been a bit occupied with things of late & haven't paid any attention to the Library & XPG for that matter. That should be fine; people can rename if need be after downloading. Thanks for the upload.
Didn't notice the site was back up, that's good to hear. I've uploaded Summer Athletics 1000GS and i'll add a few other games once I'm done with Forza MotorSports 5 On the Xbox One Cause I have a few XB360 Titles I wanna 100% to add to the Library.
None of the links are working for me. I can get onto the site but when it comes to downloading the page always diverts
Hey I can't mod achievements because I am xbox forums members. So I use games saves which it lot's easier to do.
I saw your problem when I tested the Diablo III exGPD & a couple others, but the other recent ones appear to be working for me...What you should do is, list the exGPDs you attempted to download the creator of the archive will see this & address it as soon as he can.
I tested about 12 and all of them downloaded fine for me; I can't seem to hit any exGPD that's not downloading. Can you give me a specific example to look into? Is anybody else having this issue? I'm not clear on what you mean by you can't mod achievements because you're an XBOX forums member; but in regards to game saves ... very early on in this thread I had this discussion with another member where I explained, Game Saves & exGPD's are extremely different. There is almost nothing in common. The whole methodology, execution & purpose itself is very different.
UPDATE I have identified the problem. There are 19 games that are uploaded as a "GPD" file, not an "exGPD" file. Unfortunately the links are hardcoded to pull up the files as ".exGPD", so the server is looking for an ".exGPD" extension and it doesn't find one - as those files have a ".gpd" extension. Due to the way the code is written, I don't have a quick solution for this. There are 2 ways I can approach this; both will need a little re-write of the code. I'll post back here once I have rectified this. It probably won't be till Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for bringing it up.
Glad to hear you found the bug! If you can examine the incorrectly uploaded files to check to see if they are in fact 100% complete in legit order & unlocked correctly then why don't you just contact the uploaders to have in the correct format? That would save you alot of time & effort ^ I just assumed this was an attempt at trolling so I didn't touch it
I am xbox live forum members so If I mod they will know so I use game save to get achievements legit.
As suggested would it be easier to remove those and see if they can be re uploaded or would this still not solve the problem? One of the games I noticed from memory with the error was Avatar The Game. Thanks for all your effort
FIXED A new file_existence & extension checking function has been inserted in the results code. What it does is, upon finding a file, it will basically check it's extension & automatically create the correct download link. An exGPD file will have the ".exgpd" extension and a GPD file will have a ".gpd" extension. This way the correct file will download & user will not be re-routed to a different page. A fail-safe is also in place. In case an entry in the database pulls up but neither an .exgpd file nor a .gpd file is found, user will be greeted with a comment stating the file was not found & to report it here in the Forum, and no download link will be presented. At this point, all 19 games that have a ".gpd" uploaded on the Server should be downloadable now; user will not be routed to a different address. But please be aware; these are ".gpd" file and not exGPD's, and I'd still like the uploaders to try & upload the appropriate exGPD's for these games. Please feel free to report any bugs you come across. Thanks!! I understand. I don't believe they will know instantly if you add exGPD's in a controlled & constrained manner. For example, a gamer can easily complete a game & gain 1000 GS in a week or so; you can easily add an exGPD once a week or once every 2 weeks or so. Unless you have a very large friend-base on the XBOX Forums who are constantly monitoring your gamerscore. As I've stated earlier, there is a vast difference between game saves & exGPD's. The most primary being that for Game Saves, you actually need to have the game and be able to load it up on your console; however, with exGPD's, you don't need to have the game at all. Furthermore, aside from some "Load 'n Pop" Game Saves, the others actually require you to play parts of the game to gain the achievement. With exGPD's you never touch the game, period. But I won't argue, as unarguably, game saves is the safest & most undetectable method of gamerscore progress & modding. Slower & limited compared to exGPD's, but nevertheless, least detectable & the safest.
Obviously with this function now in place this is not a means for people to get lazy & just upload GPD files, if you dont know how to make a exGPD it takes less than 5 mins to read the instructions on the first page of this thread...
I haven't been on xbox live since xmas time so was going to add a lot of games maybe around 10-15 thousand you think this would be ok? The last time I went on xbox live I noticed as soon as you connect to live all the new games added will date at that moment I connected to xbox live is this a bug or does it do this normally if a person has played offline or added using this method? (this may be what the other person was on about people noticing plus that place he was on about has people reporting you if you unlock any offline which with game saves you can be online to unlock) I also noticed my offline games have for each achievement in ex profile editor a time stamp greyed out but you can't set them unless you tick unlock online couldn't MS use this to detect people.
It goes without saying & I paraphrase from the OP here that; even the most minor score change with exPE or otherwise will always run the risk of getting you banned with M$, whilst moderation/restraint is key to minimalising this risk it is not a sure fire way. One day you might find that things have finally caught up with you even long after you have given up modding, who is to say. This "bug" you mentioned did have a fix I believe (although i could quite likely be wrong) & has been raised several times throughout the threads lifespan. I too have noticed this when adding games I have never touched or owned which whilst isn't necessarily a huge dilemma, who is to say you didn't grab that game a while ago. M$ certainly don't know & neither will the people in your friends list unless you are circulating images of your game collection daily to them. It isn't a concern as you can always argue you've always had that game you'd been playing it offline (assuming the exGPD supports that) for whatever components you could. As for the greyed out time stamp for achievements set to unlocked offline it says something for the date as 01/01/1601 or something right? I guess this is just the default date although I have checked on my WP & xbox.com & XBL the timestamp doesn't appear next to unlocked offline achievements. So no dramas there the main things they would be looking for is achievements unlocked out of order, in quick succession, illegitimate means (online achievement obtained offline). This is the whole point of the exGPD archive to provide members of XPG with these files to fly underneath the radar again though in a restrained fashion. If the OP or anyone else would like to weigh in here if I have missed anything obvious...It is half past midnight here atm so it is quite likely Ive overlooked something!
Just a quick heads up I noticed someone uploaded a .gpd of Diablo III Under the Name 'ShirouKaze' just wanted to say that I wasn't the person that uploaded it and also if just in case the person didn't realize he/she did this, Unless it was done on Purpose, Either way Thanks
