Yes please ghosts and bf4 1000 points Bumping up the request for our vets; these would be a very nice addition to the collection.
First of all great to see the library is back! I will be uploading a few more games later today, though it's been so long I don't rightly know just how many I have to upload! In regards to the request for call of duty & battlefield I will leave those to the fanboys I haven't touched a single battlefield game & I haven't touched COD since MW2 :locomotive:
Ok after a bit of a delay here are 9 more exGPD's Halo 2 (PC) Halo Reach Crysis 3 Peggle (although I was certain this one was already up) Bulletstorm (PC) Dead Rising 2:Off the Record (PC) Batman Arkham City (PC) Red Faction Guerrilla (PC) A few games need to be checked that they are 100% complete (Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Metro Last Light etc) I also noticed that I have somehow been given credit for uploading games that I haven't even touched yet Other than that everything else seems fine with the library from the brief perusal I gave it!
GfWL Games sadly dont sync to Xbox LIVE when modified on a Xbox 360 Profile :-/ exPE supported GfWL at the start, but I removed it since... well, noone used it
Ahhh Fecal Leaking man & here I thought I was doing everyone a favor finishing these PC titles before GFWL is swept under the carpet...oh well moar gamerscore for me!
Yeah, I still don't quite get Microsoft's decision to sweep out GfWL; I always quite liked it and PC Gaming will never be challenged, despite all the accolades & leaps console gaming takes.
I added this game twice with my name but it showed up without it giving me credit. DTR: Retribution Title ID - 4E4D07F5 Happy Holiday's
I noticed that my total of games uploaded, went from 80+ to 59 since the update :| Thanks Also was reading through the forum, since I have been gone for awhile and noticed that some exGPDs uploaded by me are not there. Seems like there still in the library. Just letting you know my total uploaded dropped from 80+ ( I think it was 83 ) to 59 :|
I'm getting all sorts of error's when trying to open http://exgpd.luci5r.com/. It seems like the database for exGPD files isn't accessible. The website is accessible but displays all sorts of errors. When clicking on a letter to view the database of exGPD files starting with that letter nothing happens. Is anyone aware of this and is somebody already fixing this? This issue seems to be there for quite a while.
Yes. I'm aware of it. I'll be taking the entire site down for the moment. Unfortunately I have nothing good to share. During a major operating system upgrade; the system a critical crash and I lost the entire MySQL database. Although none of the exGPD files are lost - but the entire database that stored the uploader data (such as names, game titles, etc.) has been lost. To complicate things further, my last backup from November 2011 (which would have Ideally recover at least 80% ~ 90% of the data) turned up corrupted. I have been wading through data recovery & recovery from corruption for the last week or so, to no success! The long of the short is, I may have lost the database that held the entire uploader information permanently. Which leaves me with a massive conundrum. Obviously I have the exGPD Library program & the actual .exGPD files, but if I simply make them available to everyone without any credit to the uploaders - that would be unfair to the uploaders who spend a good deal of time accumulating & uploading the files. Right now I'm trying to decide the best course of action. This is obviously a big blow. Essentially all the credit to all the uploaders is lost! And I'm not sure how to reinstate the library without due credit. Please chip in if you have recommendations ...
Bummer man! See what you can do...If you need any help just let me know! Maybe if a recovery isn't possible just upload the library you have & just have a general credit, if you go through the 18 odd pages of this thread you can find most of the uploaders anyway...maybe put up an announcement once the site is back up & running as an update for those that aren't active on this site to see & have it as an invitation for them to contact you regarding what games they contributed to the archive? It would be an honesty system though...
