Rockband rocking there way to Xbox One and PS4

Harmonix is preparing to bring Rock Band to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, according to a report over at Bloomberg.

Citing an anonymous source, Bloomberg says Harmonix is working on a new version of the once-huge music peripheral series. Beyond that, details are non-existent. But what else do you need to know? Rock Band’s coming back! Allegedly. Reportedly. Probably.

There hasn't been a proper, numbered Rock Band game since Rock Band 3 in 2010, when the market was awash with music games and plastic peripherals. But in recent years the genre has gone quiet. The stage is perfectly set for a triumphant encore.
