So spent all my free time and the night yesterday to fix the problems, which caused save corruption and a lot of trouble. Like you see I've added more features as an excuse, but please note that the scrollbars of the inventory is buggy so you have to use the arrow keys to navigate for now. I'm trying to fix that, but it seems it's a bug in windows forms itself. Also you can now change the character middle in game. That however could cause problems, so use that carefully. I hope this version works for all now, otherwise the game is driving me crazy. xD As always, if you should have errors, please send me your SAVE and the ERROR MESSAGE. Thanks and enjoy!
when i change the save,the program show this message an error occured while reading the data: is not possible to read past the end of the stream what do i do??
In h0riz0n open package manager click contents and extract the biodata.bin yes the Resident evil HD file you are extracting from has the same name biodata.bin but the file inside it is the one you need to use this editor.
save at very first save point as soon as you start game use v1,1,0,0 of this editor that just came out it works 100% of the time for me, I have uploded a save file for anyone to use.. Save Slot 1: normal, Save Slot 2: RS mode, Save Slot 3: hard mode. for anyone that cant use this or just wants a fast way. Philymaster, Beautiful work on this SE. I appreciate your efforts and have just about 100%'ed the game as far as achievements go. You made this game so much fun to play...going through the campaign and just rippin' enemies apart. Thx again!
Does this tool also work for PC ? I've tried to load biodata.bin and I also get the following error: I've tried opening biodata.bin in Horizon, but I gues that only works for XB save files... ? Is there any way to decrypt/extract PC biodata.bin ? I want to take a look inside and see if I can mess with the button bindings (since they're stored here) both K/M & Controller The Kb button bindings in the game it's incomplete and some buttons are not remappable and hardcoded to multiple functions like: "X" = zoom & top rank and so on. Or for Controllers there are buttons hardmapped as run/reload or cancel/status... etc... I'd like to see if there's any way of "splitting" those functions and remap them for ex: from "X" = run/reload, "B" = cancel/status to "X" = run/reload/cancel and "B" = Status and so on...
Very nice tool indeed I've noticed if you set the grenade launcher and shells about 255 once you fire one off it goes back to 254, so obviously if you want more than this make a 2nd inventory slot. Magnum shells seem fine, I set mine to 500 and as long as you don't pick up any more magnum shells it won't reset it to 255 (and split your shells into 2 carry slots). I have a suggestion for the tool. Is it possible to create an import / export feature, so when you modify the first game save slot you can make a copy of this, then export it into the 2nd (and so on)? Hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to create Once again many thanks
