Rockstar gave us an update today about one of the biggest games of 2018! In a post on their website, Rockstar amended their previously stated release date of "Spring 2018", and announced that the game has been pushed back... BUT we now have a set date for when we can get back in the saddle again: October, 26th, 2018. Rockstar's reason for the delay is that they "require a little extra time for polish." The announcement went on to say: "We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. ... We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks." But hey, I'm OK with this. Rockstar makes great games, and if they want to take their time and make this game really great I can wait a few more months! There is still no word yet about the game's release on PC, but after the success of GTA V on PC it would be hard to believe RDR 2 won't eventually be released there as well.
