on the "select" file look at the buttom right and click on it to make sure it's "xbob 360" save and not PC.
Okay so Im probably the only one who's having this problem, but when I go to open my save file.... its not there! Ive tried extracting them with Modio and Horizon, but the save editor can never see them. I have no idea why this is happening, because it never has before. And I also noticed the names of my save files changed... now they're "Save0001".... what is going on? Anyone know? And my system is a 360.
first of all mate you need the latest version http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/71122-latest-gibbed-borderlands-2-save-editor-r179-29th-june-xbox-360-modding-tool/ you need to extract the savegame.sav from inside save0001 to open in the editor ps when directing the editor to your save file be sure to change the type of save your opening to xbox360 (bottom right of the window)
starting yesterday i started getting an error saying "failed to load save:invalid or unsupported version". i there a way to fix this?? edit: i figured it out, i was just being an idiot and trying to load a xbox save as a pc save.
Getting "Failed to load save: Invalid or Unsupported version" know my save is good, just made it....know its extracted properly, im a modder.....dunno what's goin on with the program but it just wont work ._.

think my computer was just being retarded and slow and not showing the drop down for the .sav type selection, working good thus far but am having some issues with weapons/items sticking, would love to know how to actually mod damage on the weapons too (not really 1 shot kill but close too, but god weapons none the less)
you cant mod the weapons anymore since gearbox added sanity checks to search the bank for invalid items so they always get deleted upon loading the game. your best bet for a damage boost among other things is to edit your gpg file with Phillymasters gpd editing tool, it lets you mod your badass stats to whatever you please and you can also add golden keys and unlock all skins and heads anyway iv included a text file here for you that contains a few paste codes for legendary weapons just open it, right click select all, right click copy then hit the paste button in the editors backpack or bank tab View attachment 3377
