Sony has released an update to the Playstation Network that is said to address the login issues that the online service has been suffering with since the Christmas denial of service attacks.

The Official Twitter support for PlayStation reported that recent updates made to the Playstation Network should allow gamers to login without having to make any adjustments to the MTU settings.

Sony have requested that anybody still having issues loogging in on the default MTU settings (1500) should report them here on the official Sony feedback forum thread which is now 31 pages and 305 replies at the time of writing this article.

When submitting an error report to Sony, you must use the following format:
    • Location
    • ISP Provider
    • Console affected
    • Error(s) received – please be specific (screenshots welcome)

If you have received the update please post below to let us know whether it worked or not. Also before making any complaints make sure that the consoles MTU has reset to the default setting of 1500.
