Sony are planning a routine maintenance on Thursday the 15th of January. The network maintenance is scheduled to take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Pacific Time (12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time) according to the official Sony Blog. https://twitter.com/AskPlayStation/status/555032024571203584 The maintenance work is expected to take around Four hours to complete, however this could go on longer should the company run into issues whilst deploying patches to the back end network. If you want to play games online during the planned maintenance then make sure you are signed into PSN before the time and dates given above. Provided you’ve signed in to the network before hand, you will be able to play games online and access partner apps such as Netflix during this maintenance period. You will not be able to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will not be available during this time.
