Sony released news today that they are releasing a new model of the PS4, CUH-1200 which will be available at the end of June. New features include, weight reduction, less power consumption, mechanical buttons instead of electro-static. With the mechanical buttons being a new addition this will come in handy for people who find that they power up the console accidentally on older models due to the electro-static buttons, swiping your finger or hands by the rims of the PS4 or by picking it up. I would personally prefer touch sensitive buttons and not mechanical ones. The lighter weight isn't a good trade. Sony messed up on making a new model IHMO.
